Module 2: The Patient Interview I
You will practice
- greeting your patient appropriately
- recording accurate details about family and social background
- asking about general health issues and new problems
- understanding timelines
Module 3: The Patient Interview II
You will practice how to
- elicit details about symptoms or diagnoses
- record details accurately while you listen
- ask politely to do a physical examination
- give instructions during physical examinations
- explain to the patient your “working diagnosis”
Module 4: Discussing Tests, Diagnosis and Prognosis

- explaining provisional and differential diagnoses
- describing test purpose and procedure
- discussing treatments available and their effects
- informing, reassuring and warning patients about outcomes
